R' Eliyahu b"R' Moshe De-Vidash
author of Reishit Hochma
A great Kabbablist and the main student of R' Moshe Cordevero.  Born in Zefat.
Became known internationally as a result of his book Reishit Hochma and his Kabbalistic work Kavannat HaShem.  In 5326 (1566) was appointed Chief Rabbi of Hevron.  He died in 5347 (1587).
He was buried in the rabbinic section of the cemetery, which was named after him "Field of the Reishit Hochma."
