for generations of Jewish residents
of the holy city of Hevron (may it be rebuilt).
This cemetery was desecrated
and the graves of the holy dead were shattered.
These are the names of the families whose sons and daughters
found eternal rest in this holy place.

This monument was erected by the Committee of Hevron Exiles in Jerusalem
and in particular
Messrs. Avraham Franco, Yosef ben Yaakov Ezra,
and Yosef ben Nissim Bigaui
who initiated and erected this monument
